Thank you for your interest in Clara Tales. This project is still in its early days – we’ve done some up-front work so that we have something to show, but we’re working hard to launch the project fully later in the year. Our intention is to raise money in the Spring through a Kickstarter campaign, and then to shoot more movies over the summer, so that we can be ready to launch in the Fall.

Our Kickstarter video is actually a great introduction to the project, so we suggest you watch that if you’d like to know more.

We have three main goals for this project:

• Make entertaining short films that teach kids something
• Empower kids to tap into their own creativity
• Give parents an opportunity to connect with their children.

Our fairy tales are intended to provide entertainment that gently teaches a moral lesson. Each of the fairy tales will teach a principle that parents can discuss with their kids. Our art-based activities will both give parents a way to talk about these subjects with their kids and allow kids to be creative too. And in time we hope to begin to teach kids how to create their own movies, and to give them a platform to show off what they create themselves.
